Stay In Yo' Lane

Its soooooooooooooooooooooo much to do in the world!

Everyone wants to push you in their direction.

"Think like this! Talk like that!"

Be any way that is not you.

I can't say that this life has not been pushed by what others think. Part of it is that. The other part is to be the opposite of what people want you to be. Its my form of anti-bully..."You can't do this because I said you can't do it." My response is "I can do it because I know my potential." The key to moving forward is to know your lane and stay in it.

At some point, everyone has heard, been told or knows someone who needed to stay in their lane. No matter what people thought about me, I stayed true to who I am. In this world, that is something that feels very hard to do.

Why?

Again, peers and strangers alike have their expectations of what you should be. There have been many famous people who have met their end due to that type of thinking.

Fuck all that. Stay In Yo' Lane

So what if telling it like it is sets people off?

It's better to make the phonies migrate and bring the real souls closer to your realm.

How did talking on values, morals, codes and ethics become such a dirty thing? When did treat others the way you want to be treated become a crime?

The moment I realized being right was wrong was the moment I realized that I had an entire lane to stay in. In today's society, loyalty is a word in the dictionary. It's not actually put into action along with the words truth, love, respect, and values.

I get negativity because of the lane I choose because to everybody else, I should be everybody else.

:D Fuck you.

What part of the game of life says you have to BE like everybody else? To THINK like everybody else?

Since when do square pegs fit in round holes?

Furthermore, what the fuck is a "fit in"?

What happened to BE YOURSELF?

What ever happened, it opened up the road to me being myself.

Keeping me in my lane.

Stay in yours.
